Some notes about Adelaide's older brother, Eugene Boutelle.  No one in the family at this point knows much about "Uncle Gene."

Eugene C. Boutelle was the middle child of 3 children of Eliza Jemimah Lyon Boutelle and Clinton Turner Boutelle in West Groton, Mass. The Boutelles lived on Kemp Street in West Groton in a good sized farmhouse.  Clinton's mother (who had lived in Leominster, MA.) lived with them, although we're not sure when she moved to West Groton.  In the 1920 U.S. Census, Gene is listed as 13 and his grandmother, Sarah A. Bowthorpe, as 86.  Sarah and her parents were all born in Vermont.  (Sarah married a Mr. Bowthorpe but, being a decisive person, decided she didn't want to stay with Mr. Bowthorpe and left the marriage after one day!)  I believe Sarah's maiden name was Turner.

Gene's siblings were Vivian, born 1905, and Adelaide, born 1908.  Eliza died young, in 1915.  Addie attended elementary school grades 1 thru 8 at Tarbell School in West Groton so it's likely that Gene did as well.  Addie remembered on occasion taking a two-hour buggy ride to the amusement park Whalom Park, in Whalom, MA., so likely Gene was along on those trips.

After Eliza died in 1915, Vivian and Adelaide (and likely Gene) were taken under the wing of two sisters who lived down Kemp Street on Kemp Farm, Lillian and Flora Kemp.  Lillian may have married Mr. Shepley by the time Vivian, Gene and Adelaide were born.

Gene went to some kind of religious school and got religious training.  At some point as an adult living in West Groton, passing out religious tracts

Clinton would go to Fla. and Gene would go with him.

The little we know about Gene as an adult was that he lived in Fox Lake, WI.  He married Daisy Fisher of Fox Lake late in life.  According to a distant relative of Daisy,

Per George, Gene went to some kind of religious school and got religious training.  At some point as an adult living in West Groton

Clinton Boutelle was Adelaide's father.
